Teaching languages summer update
Congratulations on having completed the May/June exam series for languages! This update includes surveys on the summer 2022 series, results support and downloadable resources for classroom displays.
Get ready for the summer results period
I’ve gathered together the support you’ll need for the results period for all language qualifications: GCSE, International GCSE, A level and International AS/A level.
Give us your feedback on the summer series
We want to hear from you about your students’ experiences of our French, German and Spanish GCSE papers, following the accessibility amendments we introduced. We’d also welcome your feedback on using Learner Work Transfer (LWT) for the first time to submit your speaking assessments.
Please complete these quick surveys, which will take about 5 minutes each:
Get set for September
To explore all the available training and network events currently scheduled, including autumn term CPD on phonics and conducting speaking assessments, visit the Professional Development Academy.
Diversify your curriculum
As you review your schemes of work and plan for the coming year, take time to consider how to make your MFL classroom more inclusive. We've created a range of ready-made language resources to engage and inspire your learners.
Refresh your displays
If your departmental or classroom notice boards need to be updated, explore these colourful posters and resources to motivate and engage your students.
May/June 2023 exam timetables
We will publish these at the start of the autumn term. Comments on the provisional timetables may be sent to email@example.com. There will be a three-week consultation period and final timetables will be published in October.
