Scaling support for A level French, German and Spanish (2016 specifications)

Grade boundaries for linear A level qualifications in French, German, Spanish now use scaled subject marks and are awarded at qualification rather than at paper level. This guidance has been produced to explain scaling and to illustrate how this affects the raw marks.

In addition, there’s an online converter to help you transfer raw marks into scaled ones. This should prove helpful when marking mock exams and used in conjunction with the relevant A level qualification grade boundaries and notional component grade boundaries.
