For teachers preparing to deliver the Pearson Edexcel GCSE in French, German or Spanish from September 2024, these pre-recorded training sessions will support you in your planning for these new qualifications.
After watching, you will:
- develop understanding of the specification content and requirements (e.g. thematic contexts, vocabulary and grammar)
- gain a deep dive into the new elements of the qualification and better understand their mark schemes
- find out more about the support available
Supporting You with Teaching the 2024 MFL GCSEs
Covering a range of topics from effective mixed ability teaching to developing confident linguists, this programme of training events is designed to support you in planning for first teaching of the new MFL GCSEs.
Using examples from Pearson's newly-developed resources for Edexcel and AQA, our subject leads for French, German and Spanish draw on their many years of teaching experience to provide you with practical strategies to confidently plan and teach the new GCSEs.
