January subject advisor update
The January 2023 update from your Subject Advisor
Welcome back after the holidays. Good luck to all your learners who are taking exams this month.
Results Dates
BTEC Nationals and BTEC First results will be released to centres on 22/03/23, they can be released to learners on 23/03/23.
BTEC Tech Award results will be released to centres on 05/04/23 and can be released to learners on 06/04/23
BTEC Tech Award Health and Social Care
The Pearson Set Assignment will be released on 6 February 2023.
This needs to be completed and marked so all the marks and the sample can be uploaded to Edexcel online by 1 May 2023.
The PSA can be downloaded from the website, you will need an Edexcel online password.
There are still training dates available for the Marking and Moderation training, this is a really useful session that will help you with marking the PSA and the best fit approach.
Paid for published resources
You can purchase the new paid for resources for the BTEC Tech Award Health and Social Care. There is a text book and teacher pack.
New Higher Nationals in Counselling and Applied Psychology (2023)
This newly developed qualification replaces the Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
