Introduction to the new Subject Advisor for Health and Social Care and Childcare - Esther Trehearn

My name is Esther Trehearn, the new Subject Advisor for Health and Social Care and Childcare. I have been working in a large FE college for the past 6 years in the Early Years and Care department. I have taught from Entry to Level 3 and have taught BTEC for several years.

KS4 Qualifications

The BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care is a new KS4 qualification designed for 14-16 year olds in schools to be taken alongside GCSEs, replacing the BTEC First Award.
