Updated Authentication sheets to include AI statement
Both GCSE and A level Authentication sheets have been updated to include an AI statement. Please access and use these for summer 2024 series.
A level Design and Technology Component 1 theory support
Following on from your feedback, we have created the below page containing information on resources and systems available (textbooks, resultsplus, examwizard) to support the delivery of A level Design and Technology Component 1 content. It will also provide access to a form where you can submit information about the topics you need further support with.

Summer 2024 exam timetables and NEA deadline
NEA deadline: 15 May 2024 - to submit marks and sample to Pearson.
Summer 2024 exam timetables are available and accordingly the exam dates for A level and GCSE D&T are:
- A level D&T (9DT0 01) - 5 June, pm
- GCSE D&T - (1DT0 1A-F) - 18 June, am

The Access to Scripts service allows you to view your candidates’ marked scripts online or download as PDFs, providing transparency of marking and to help you make decisions around requests for reviews of marking and inform future teaching and learning.
The Access to Scripts service provides a rich source of information, enabling detailed analysis to inform teaching and learning and support students, giving insights and visibility that performance data alone cannot provide.
The portal can only be accessed by Edexcel Online users who have the 'Exam Viewer' profile ticked on Edexcel Online. Your exams officer gives teachers access to 'Exam Viewer'.
Please note that these scripts do not contain examiners' annotations.
If scripts have been marked 'traditionally' (i.e. not online), you will need to request them, free of charge, by the published deadline, via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series.
Access To Scripts via Script Viewer is available from Results Day until 15 December 2023.
Candidate consent is required before requesting script copies, as per section 6.2.1 of the JCQ's Post-Results Services guide. Candidate consent can only be obtained after results have been published.

Training
New to Edexcel / Coursework marking training events (on-demand)
New to Edexcel on-demand training events are designed to help teachers onboarding on to our qualifications. This will give an overview of the qualifications and what to expect during delivery and assessment.
Our coursework marking training event consists of 4 modules. These modules are on-demand and accessible at all times. These modules will help teachers and departments to standardise their marking of the NEA. Within these modules, teachers would have the opportunity to view and mark different portfolios to understand the application of the mark scheme at different levels.
General qualifications assessment support
We’ve got a new support page for you to bookmark – General qualifications assessment support. Here we’ll share news information and updates from Ofqual, the Department for Education (DfE), the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and Pearson, relating to the exams and assessments for our GCSE, AS and A level qualifications.
We’ll be updating it regularly so you know you’ve got all the latest announcements, news, support materials and updates to enable you to teach our qualifications, help your students with their assessments and post-results support, to enable them to progress.
