Level 2 and 3 consultation - have your say
Your opportunity to review and respond to reform!
Ofqual have launched a consultation on regulating post-16 vocational and technical qualifications at levels 2 and 3.
Deadline: 2 July 2026
We’re introducing digital credentials for Pearson vocational qualifications — a secure, online way for students to access and share their achievements alongside paper certificates.
This change supports progression into further study and employment, with no changes to assessment, grading or standards.
Digital credentials will be available for vocational qualifications, excluding Tech Awards and T Levels.
BTEC Tech Award in Construction and the Built Environment updates
Marks and samples submission - Components 2 and 3
Please remember that you’ll need to submit your centre marks before we release the list of students selected for the moderation sample.
Once you submit your centre marks, your moderation sample will appear in Learner Work Transfer within 6 hours. Your Exams Officer will be notified once the sample is available.

BTEC Firsts and Nationals updates
Extension to BTEC Nationals in Construction (2017) Qualifications
We are pleased to confirm that we are extending the BTEC Nationals in Construction qualifications. This ensures they can still be used by both full-time learners and apprentices, in all nations, where funding is available and where specified in apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
Provisional exam timetables - 2027
Provisional exam timetables for Winter and Summer 2027 series are now available for your review. Any feedback on these provisional timetables should be sent to timetables@pearson.com.

Additional Sample Assessment Materials for Unit 1 and 2
To prepare your students to the external exams, we have published a set of Additional Sample Assessment Materials (AdSAMs). This means that there are 2 sets of papers for students to use and get ready for these exams.
