Extensions to BTEC Nationals in Construction
We are pleased to confirm that the following BTEC Nationals in Construction and the Built Environment are being extended as per the table below. This ensures they can still be used by both full-time learners and apprentices, in all nations, where funding is available and where specified in apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
In England they will also remain available alongside the new Alternative Academic Qualification (360 GLH Extended Certificate) 610/3959/7 and will remain available until replaced by the 'V Level' in this sector.
Please note that the AAQ is now the only funded qualification for full-time, non apprentice learners in England.
