| 21 February 2026* | BTEC Tech Awards - Entry deadline for May/June internal and external assessment entries *Learners who sat internal assessments in the December/January series can be re-entered for May/June assessments after results have been issued, and no late fees will be charged. The entry deadline for these learners is 27th March. Late fees will apply after this date. |
| 20 March 2026* | Entry deadline for BTEC First and Nationals Summer 2026 exam series *Learners who sat BTEC assessments in the January 2026 series can be re-entered for June exams after January results have been issued, and no late fees will be charged. the entry deadline for these learners is 27 March |

Ofqual consultation for on-screen assessment
Ofqual has launched a consultation on proposals for how on-screen assessment should be regulated in GCSEs, AS and A levels in England. Whilst they propose a controlled introduction of on-screen assessment, pen-and-paper will remain central to most exams.
As teachers working directly with students, you understand their needs and the challenges this proposal may present.
Your opinion counts. The consultation closes on 5 March 2026.

The provisional timetables for BTEC external assessments for the Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 exam series have now been published on our website. Any feedback on these provisional timetables should be sent to timetables@pearson.com by close of play on Friday 20 March.
