General Qualification Updates

New authentication forms

New candidate authentication forms are now available for qualifications with non-examination assessment (NEA). These must be completed for both Components 1 and 2 of GCSE, A Level, and International GCSE Art and Design.

Please ensure you are using the latest versions for 2026/27.

Vocational Qualification Updates

BTEC Tech Award Art and Design Practice 2027 moderation

From summer 2027, centres can choose how Component 1 is moderated:

Remote moderation through Learner Work Transfer may suit work that can be clearly presented digitally

Visiting moderation continues to be available for centres that prefer an in-person visit
