Our transition scheme will help you prepare students appropriately for starting the new GCSE Sciences – right from the start of Year 9 – regardless of your current awarding organisation. With a focus on consolidating knowledge and skills from Key Stage 3 and developing for GCSE, these materials will ensure that your students have a strong start when you commence your GCSE teaching.
Free events near you!
You can also learn how to make the most of these materials at our free local network sessions – Supporting Transition to the New GCSE (9-1) GCSE Sciences. These provide an opportunity for you to meet our GCSE specialists and network with colleagues to consider the implications of the changes. You’ll also explore how to best prepare students moving from Key Stage 3 to the new GCSEs, and ways you may use or adapt our transition materials. There’ll also be a chance to review and discuss proposed content for our new specifications.
