You want your students to feel prepared for their core exams, and we’ve got everything you need to help. We've made a collection of short videos covering topics such as annual planning, preparation, and improvement, understanding command words, preparing students, and understanding re-sits.
All the materials are generic, so you can use them to support any of the T Levels delivered by Pearson.
You can find the core exam support and preparation videos on our training and admin support page, under the “on-demand training” heading.
As part of our responsibility for delivering the Technical Qualification, we issue results for the core component (the core exams and employer set project) and the occupational specialism.
We'll send component results to exams officers’ Edexcel Online mailboxes on 13 August 2025. These will consist of statements of results (one PDF per student) and a broadsheet of results for all students at the centre across all Technical Qualification components. The release of these component results to students is embargoed until 14 August 2025.
We will transfer all component results to the DfE, who are responsible for:
- aggregating and issuing the overall T Level result via their Manage T-Level results service, including results from the two Technical Qualification components and the completion of the industry placement
- issuing T Level certificates and statements of achievement
- reporting T Level grades to UCAS.
For more information, explore the DfE’s T Levels support for schools and colleges or contact the DfE directly.

If you're currently delivering Generation 1 T Levels in Construction and/or Digital, and therefore moving to the Generation 2 specifications in September 2025, there will be a period of parallel running, either with the delivery of two specifications with the same awarding organisation or working with two different awarding organisations.
See the Generation 2 section of our FAQs for more information
The Generation 2 specification for teaching from September 2025 is now available.
Watch a recording of our provider event introducing the 2025 specification to learn what’s new.
A new occupational specialism, Project Delivery for Construction, will be available for new students, with the first assessments planned from 2027. This specification won’t be published until later this year; however, you can have early sight on request and/or via contributing to our Provider Panel.
If you’re moving from BTEC Nationals in Construction to the T Level, use our transition guide to help you map BTEC National units to the core content areas.
Pearson has been working with the Gatsby Foundation to provide high quality teaching resources for several topics in the Core: Law, Maths and Modern Methods of Construction. Keep an eye on the Gatsby Technical Education Networks website.

These Generation 2 T Levels will be delivered by Pearson from September 2026. This will not affect your 2024 or 2025 intake; those students will complete their T level with NCFE.
By adding these T Levels to your curriculum, you’ll be meeting the growing demand from industry, broadening your course options and attracting students excited about high-quality vocational qualifications.
We'd love you to join our provider panel and share your opinions about the content, the structure and manageability of the assessments, and anything else you feel would be useful as we refresh both Technical Qualifications. To join, please email Andrew Hambelton at andrew.hambleton@pearson.com.
We have resources to support your delivery, including schemes of work for the core and occupational specialism components, exemplar materials for the employer set project, and a content overview for Core Paper 2.
Improvements to the occupational specialism
We’ve made some changes to the T Level Finance occupational specialisms to help make assessment clearer and more efficient.
We will no longer be providing pre-release materials. This change is designed to streamline your preparation process, ensuring all necessary information is included within the main assessment documents.
Tasks that were previously split into separate documents (e.g., Task A and Task B) will now be combined into a single task booklet. This adjustment aims to simplify the administration and handling of assessment materials.
We’ve uploaded updated administrative support guides to reflect these changes, and these are available to download from our course materials page, along with curriculum planners.
