We're reinstating the requirement of additional staffing and approval requirements for BTEC National Diploma in Fitness Services.
In May 2019 we let you know that we were removing the staffing requirements for the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Fitness Services (720 GLH) (601/7215/0).
We're writing to let you know that we are reinstating the requirement of additional staffing and approval requirements for this qualification with immediate effect, including if you have already started teaching the qualification. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause - this change has been made to ensure that the qualification meets the membership entry requirements for REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals).
The specification for this qualification will be updated to reflect this change shortly.

With these reinstated staffing requirements, the BTEC National Diploma in Fitness Services meets the membership entry requirements for REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) and CIMSPA, supporting learners progression to job roles in the fitness industry.
