With a long history of designing and delivering qualifications and assessments for apprenticeships across a wide range of sectors, whatever your apprenticeships needs are, we can help.
Our standards offer consists of products and services across a wide range of sectors, all designed to ensure your apprentices achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their apprenticeship.
All standards have different requirements but our Pearson Apprenticeships solution will always allow you to meet those requirements, because we break down our offer into three key areas: on-programme, end-point assessment and training support.
Whether mandatory or optional, our qualifications, including Functional skills in maths and English will help you support your learners to develop and demonstrate relevant work-based skills and behaviours in order to be successful in their careers.
Our range of paid-for digital and print learning content is mapped to apprenticeship standards and are designed to help apprentices get the best learning outcomes during their on-programme.
We offer high-quality end-point assessments designed and ready to deliver for each specific standard.
Pearson is now one of the largest listed providers of approved end-point assessment (EPA) services for the apprenticeship standards in England.
You can use Pearson as your end-point assessment provider regardless of whether you choose to use our on-programme offer.
We offer a range of support services, including training and CPD events to prepare delivery staff for the requirements of apprenticeship standards in your sector, free advice and guidance events to help navigate the standards and preparing for EPA, as well as paid-for tutor and assessor resources.
Are you starting to recruit learners onto the apprenticeship standards?
What are your next steps?
Now the standards are rolling out, some of our centres are telling us they are unsure about what should happen and when. Here, in a few easy steps, is the process centres should be following:
The centre signs a contract with the employer that includes:
- the standards
- number of apprentices for each standard
- start date of learning for the apprentices
- The employer decides which end-point assessment (EPA) organisation they want to use. This decision would be in consultation with you as their provider.
