Important GCSE short course qualification update
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that the qualifications we offer best meet the needs of our teachers and learners, we have made the decision to withdraw our short courses in GCSE Religious Studies and GCSE Physical Education.
When does this change come into effect?
The final assessment opportunity for these qualifications will be summer 2022.
Important information
Our aim in taking this approach is to align our qualifications and support with the subjects and levels that teachers are prioritising. We will continue to offer our full GCSE qualifications in both of these subjects, and this decision does not affect any of our GCSE qualifications in other subjects.
