This qualification is for learners who want to start a career in early years education and care. It is designed for post-16 learners and can be taken as part of a wider study programme. It is an ideal qualification if they are intending to progress directly to employment in the early years sector, or to an early years apprenticeship.
This qualification has been approved as meeting the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner criteria and added to the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification list for September 2019.
