This qualification is for learners who work as control room operators. It gives them the knowledge and skills to control production process operations in an oil and gas facility. Due to the hazardous nature of oil and gas operations, all learners are required to gain mandatory knowledge and skills in process operations, including safety, by implementing and supervising oil and gas frontline safety barriers, and by responding to and recovering in emergencies.
