The month's update features guidance on how to set up access for your learners' line manager so they can monitor the progress of their employee and encourage and support them as they collect evidence to demonstrate competence towards the qualification they are registered on.

If you follow the steps below, you'll be able to give the employees' / learners' managers access to their profile, and they'll be able to see any of the evidence previously submitted.

  1. Create a manager (as a user) in ePortfolio. 
  2. Then select 'Manage Centre users' from the home screen.
  3. Locate and select your learners name.
  4. Select your newly created manager from the drop-down menu below learner details.
  5. Select Save.

The manager should now be able to login and see which learners / employees they have been linked to, and by clicking on their name, they'll be able to see an option in the top right corner of the screen 'View {Learners name} evidence'.

A new video has been added to the resources on ePortfolio for managers, titled 'Viewing Learner Evidence'. This can be viewed by managers, assessors and centre administration.

​Managers can be linked to multiple employees / learners. You'll then need to edit all of the other learners and link the newly created manager(s) to them so they can view their progress.
