Replacement of the Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles of Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road (QCF) from 1 August 2015

We have recently reviewed the Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road (QCF) (600/4676/4).

This qualification will be withdrawn from 31 July 2015. From 1 August 2015 centres need to register learners on the new version of this qualification:

  • Pearson BTEC Level 1 Award in Principles for Carrying and Delivering Goods By Road (QCF) (601/6695/2)

This old version of this qualification was mapped to the Initial Driver CPC requirements and as a result we have amended the qualification.

The unit ‘Principles of Customer Service When Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road’ (Y/503/7929) has been replaced by a new unit, ‘Principles of Professional Image and Customer Service When Carrying and Delivering Goods by Road’ (M/507/3223). The new unit is 2 credits in size and as a result the new version of this qualification is 6 credits in size.
