Security Licence Linked Qualifications (2015) – Last Certification Date
Please note the last certification date for the 2015 licence linked security qualifications is 31 August, 2021.
The last date for sitting the tests associated with these qualifications is 15 August, 2021.

Top Up qualifications
Th Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) and the Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry (Top Up) are available for registration.

From October 2021 anyone wishing to renew their Door Supervisor or Security Officer licence will have to complete the relevant Top Up qualification before they can renew their licence.
Funding
The Pearson Door Supervisor and Security Officer qualifications have now been approved for funding. Find out more about qualification funding.
Unfortunately the CCTV qualification was not approved for funding.
Test inspections
A reminder that centres are required to submit a test notification form and provide us with at least 5 working days notice of all test bookings for the BTEC Security qualifications.

The test notification form is now available. The form is to be completed once you have registered/booked tests and a minimum of 5 working days before the test date. One form must be completed for every test that you have scheduled.
