This month's update includes information on the Care Certificate and our free sector development forums.
The Care Certificate
The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life.
The Care Certificate is the start of the career journey for these staff groups and is only one element of the training and education that will make them ready to practice within their specific sector.
The Care Certificate is designed for new staff, who are new to care, and offersthem their first step on their career ladder, but it also offers opportunities for existing staff to refresh or improve their knowledge.
A selection of materials is available to support you as you implement the Care Certificate in your workplace on the Skills for Care website.
