Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (England) 603/3496/4

This qualification is available for first teach 1st September 2018. The specification can be found on our website. This qualification is approved by Skills for Care to ensure that it is of high quality, consistent and well understood.

Update on level 5 apprenticeships from Skills for Care

The revised level 5 apprenticeship standard for Leader in Adult Care has now been published. We’re expecting that people will be able to start on this apprenticeship in late autumn 2018 once the assessment plan has been signed-off by the Institute for Apprenticeships.

The new level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, named in the standard, will be available from September 2018.

The current level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Care Leadership and Management (SASE framework) will be available to new apprentices until 31 December 2019, along with the existing Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (adult pathways).

Adult Care Worker Level 2 Standard

Centres are reminded that Individuals without level 1 English and Maths will need to achieve this level and must take the test for level 2 English and Maths before taking the end-point assessment.
