Supporting teaching and learning in schools
Can you help us to ensure our level 2 and 3 Support Work in Schools qualifications are still available for 19+ funding in 2015/16?
As you know, we are working with the Skills Funding Agency to confirm continued support for our vocational qualifications from our customers and the employers they work with, to ensure that these qualifications remain eligible for 19+ funding. As part of this process the SFA has asked us to include letters demonstrating industry recognition of the qualifications detailed below:
- Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools (501/1020/2)
- Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Award in Support Work in Schools (501/1027/5)
- Pearson Edexcel Level 2 Certificate in Support Work in Schools (501/1036/6)
- Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Certificate in Support Work in Schools (501/1028/7).
This is not a letter of endorsement but a letter to confirm that the employers recognise the listed qualifications as developing occupational competency, knowledge and skills in the sector, to a standard that can be reasonably expected for a learner aged 19+.
If you want to help us to ensure these qualifications are available for 19+ funding in 2015/16, please contact us. We’ll supply you with a template letter so you can be sure that all the critical information required by the SFA is included.
