Early Years Educator EPA Resources
It has been brought to our attention that there is some information in our EPA resources for Early Years Educator which has led to some confusion about the evidence requirements for the two recorded observations to be included in the portfolio.
We would like to confirm that the evidence must include at least two observations of practice, maximum 20-minutes in total duration and it is recommended that these observations are done within 3 months before gateway to reflect current practice and apprentices’ readiness for EPA.
We will be amending our documents shortly to clarify these requirements.

Early Years Lead Practitioner End-Point Assessment
We are now on the register ROEPAO for the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner
Role involves:
Working in different organisations including day nurseries, playgroups, nursery schools, pre-schools, kindergartens, primary schools, hospitals, social care settings, out of school environments and local authority provision
Work as a proactive and influential practitioner, working directly with children, skilfully leading day to day practice at an operational level
