GCSE (2024) French, German and Spanish Digital Sequencing Tool (Demo version)

To provide teachers and exams officers with an opportunity to practise using the Sequencing Tool before a live series, we have created the Sequencing Tool (demo version). This is now available for teachers and exams officers in the Pearson Portal.

To log into the Pearson Portal, you need to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) which is done with the Pearson Authenticator App.

• Already using Edexcel Online, Results Plus or examWizard?
  You’re good to go — no action needed.
• New to the Portal?
  Just install the Pearson Authenticator App on your phone or smart device to get started.

Once you’ve logged in to the Pearson Portal you need to make sure you have the correct permission set-up in your Edexcel Online (EOL) account. To find out what that is and to start the process of getting it activated on your account, see this User Guide.

In the Sequencing Tool (demo version) you will be able to see how the tool works and practise using it in a low stakes environment, where you can reset the data and try using the system as many times as you want .

All teachers should practise using the Sequencing Tool (demo version) prior to the Speaking assessment in 2026 to ensure they know how to generate their students’ individual allocation of speaking cards when using the live version from March 2026.
