T Level September Update
Welcome back to the new academic year. We hope students have achieved the outcomes they were working towards, and thank you for the dedication and support you have shown throughout the last year.
This update contains key information and practical guidance for the months ahead, alongside the latest developments in general and vocational qualification reforms. As always, we remain committed to supporting you and your students throughout the year.
Results this Summer
Here’s what to expect for T Level results this summer.
We send Technical Qualification (TQ) component results for the core component (core exams and employer-set project) and the occupational specialism to your exams officer via Edexcel Online on 12 August 2026.
The Department for Education (DfE) uses these component results, alongside industry placement completion, to issue overall T Level results through the Manage T Level Results service. They'll issue certificates and statements of achievement and report grades to UCAS.

A Partial Achievement is where a student completes their industrial placement and passes either the Core or Occupational Specialism components but not both.
Does the Student get a Grade or Certificate? No, the student doesn’t get a certificate but gets a Partial Pass on their statement of results
So what do they get? They get UCAS points based upon the grade they achieve in the component they passed
The tables here show the UCAS points that go with the result for a grade in either Core or Occupational Specialism the final column, where possible, is an approximate A level equivalent
