New Names and New T Levels

Our current digital T Level called "Digital Production, Design and Development" is to be renamed to Digital Software Development going forward. Please we are adding two new offers:
T get early sight of the draft specifications contact Andrew.Hambelton@Pearson.com and ask to join the preview panel, then we will be able to share draft resources with you a little earlier than waiting for these to be published.

Regional T Level Events

In May we will be holding regional T Level events to try and support T Levels and provide networking opportunities. David Pautsch will be talking about core exams and how to improve grades. They are taking place
1st May 10-1 Exeter College
2nd May 10-1 Middlesbrough College
6th May 10-1 USP College Canvey Island
9th May 10-1 University College Birmingham

Gatsby have been working on resources for the Digital T Level that will support teaching and learning. These have been created by industry experts like Raspberry Pi and our own examiners to support you in class. They will be rolled out starting this term.

Cisco Resources
We have worked with Cisco and their Networking Academy on teaching resources for Python and other programming languages used in the Occupational Specialism. It's completely free to sign up and become a Cisco Networking Academy centre.

A Partial Achievement is where a student completes their industrial placement and passes either the Core or Occupational Specialism components but not both.
Does the Student get a Grade or Certificate?
No, the student doesn’t get a certificate but gets a Partial Pass on their statement of results
So what do they get?
They get UCAS points based upon the grade they achieve in the component they passed
The tables here show the UCAS points that go with the result for a grade in either Core or Occupational Specialism the final column, where possible, is an approximate A level equivalent
