Functional Skills ICT
A reminder that the last assessment date for Pearson’s Functional Skills ICT portfolio is 14th June 2024. This is also the last day of Standards Verifier visits too. The final certification date is the 31 August 2024.
Below are some free training events for centres hoping to move from FS ICT to supporting learners using some of our other qualififactions.
June 19th: "ICT Wizards Unite!" A free online event to master teaching Entry 1 - 2 ICT with BTEC Pre Vocational Studies. Register Now! Summary - Teaching Entry 1-2 ICT in schools or colleges using BTEC Pre Vocational Studies (cventevents.com)

Digital Functional Skills Assessments Now Available
Follow our step by step guidlines to booking a test.
Digital Functional Skills uses a new test player called Digital Functional Skills Test Player. Follow our download and installation instructions to make sure you’re ready for your first test booking. Should you need any further support, we have a range of guidance articles to help you run online tests smoothly.
Digital Functional Skills: Software Installation Guide
Much as you will have done previously for our Functional Skills ICT tests, you will need to download test data files for your learners to access during the test. Read our guide to downloading test files.
Digital Functional Skills is a brand-new qualification. To ensure we have sufficient learner evidence to establish standards and set initial grade boundaries, our usual 20 working-day SLA for returning Functional Skills results will be extended to 56 working days for Digital Functional Skills.
