BTEC Tech Award in DIT resources
Free and paid for resources are coming, here is a summary of what is on offer.
Take a look at our new resources that will make every lesson simple to teach. Each resource has been designed to complement the others and will support you and your students in planning, delivery and preparation for assessment of the new Tech Award.
What is available for free?
Free support is available in the form of Course Planners, mapping documents and Schemes of Work, covering all components of the course. There are Authorised Assignment Briefs for both Component 1 and Component 2 and sample marked learner work at Level 2 for Comonent 1.
What is available at a cost?
Our Student Book is available now in a choice of print or digital formats, with a range of digital subscription options to suit your cohort size.

The Student Book builds on the teaching content in the free Schemes of Work - each lesson from the Scheme of Work is represented by a two-page spread in the Student Book, covering all the teaching content plus activities and assessment practice.
Coming soon
Our ActiveLearn Teaching Resources will be available via a one year or three year subscription from spring 2019 and will include additional content to support your classroom teaching. Structured around a digital version of the Student Book, making them ideal for front-of-class teaching, they will include downloadable resources linked to each lesson, such as editable PowerPoints, worksheets as well as interactive worked examples and knowledge check quizzes to use front-of-class or for homework.
