Please find the July update for our BTEC Nationals, as we transition to new registrations in the AAQ versions of these qualifications.

Calling all BTEC Teachers!
Are you planning to deliver the NEW BTEC Nationals AAQs and the BTEC Level 3 IT or Computng qualification from September 2025 and want to get ahead of the curve with our new BTEC Transferable Skills Framework.
Join our online event where we will explore the framework - developed in collaboration with employers, higher education, and FE teachers – supports the development of four essential skill clusters:

You’ll get hands-on with the Transferable Skills wheel, understand the performance descriptors, and discover innovative approaches to embedding these skills into your teaching practice.

Current BTEC Nationals (RQF)
Remember from September 2025 no new registrations can be made on the smaller qualifications, the Certificate 180glh, the Extended Certificate 360glh and the Foundation Diploma 520glh will not be available.
The Diploma 720glh and Extended Diploma 1080glh have had registrations extended by one year so you can register students in the September 2025 cohort for a full program on these sizes only.
We have shared an important update regarding the key dates and term-time checkpoints. To every centre that has recently delivered any of our BTEC Level 3 National qualifications. These key dates have been designed to ensure BTEC results are delivered successfully to all learners expecting a result in 2025
