2015 A level History launch events
There will be a new A level History specification for first teaching September 2015. We'll be submitting draft specifications to Ofqual for accreditation in early June 2014.
You can now book a place on a free AS and A level History launch event to find out about changes to the Pearson Edexcel specification. The dates and locations of these events can be found below:

These free half-day events are for History teachers who want to find out about our new AS and A level History specifications for first teaching from September 2015.
You will find out about:
- A level reforms and the background behind our new specification
- the structure and content of our new specification
- changes to the assessment of the qualification
- the wide range of support to help you make the transition.
The will also be an opportunity for you to ask us questions about the changes to the specification.

You can book a place on one of these launch events on our training page by searching for A level History events.
You can also email us at trainingbookings@pearson.com to book a place if you experience difficulties with booking online. If you are emailing, please identify the training event you wish to attend, providing:
- the event code, date and location
- your contact name, email address, centre name and number (if applicable).
Please note: there will be more launch events in the Autumn Term and we will be holding them in some alternative locations where possible.
