This update contains some key dates for Geography teachers to be aware of in the 2018/2019 academic year.
| Early November 2018 | Pre-recorded Summer 2019 feedback events available online for GCSE and A level Geography. Additional exemplar materials available from Summer 2018 exam series for GCSE and A level Geography. |
| 7 November 2018 | Date by which Summer 2018 certificates should arrive in centres. |
| 12 November 2018 | Summer 2019 Basedata issued for GCSE, International GCSE and AS/A level (Summer 2019 entries can be made after this date). |
| 14 December 2018 | Last date to access students’ scripts from Summer 2018 series using our Free Access to Scripts service. |
| 31 January 2019 | Deadline to request modified papers for the Summer 2019 series (GCSE, International GCSE, AS/A level). |
| 31 January 2019 | Deadline to submit Form JCQ/CCA – Centre consortium arrangements for centre assessed work (GCSE, AS/A level). |
| 21 February 2019 | Summer 2019 entry deadline for GCSE and A level Geography. Please note your exams officer will have their own internal deadlines to ensure they get the necessary information in time. |
| 21 February 2019 | Deadline to submit applications for access arrangements via special requirements (GCSE, International GCSE, AS/A level). |
| 28 February 2019 | Summer 2020 Provisional timetable published on the Pearson Qualifications website (GCSE, AS/A level). |
| 21 March 2019 | Summer 2019 entry deadline for International GCSE Geography. Please note your exams officer will have their own internal deadlines to ensure they get the necessary information in time. |
| 30 April 2019 | Deadline for submission of comments on Summer 2020 provisional examination timetables to JCQ for GCSE and A level Geography. |
| 15 May 2019 | Deadline to submit the Fieldwork Statement form for GCSE and A level Geography. You can upload the statements here. |
| 15 May 2019 | Date by which all A level Geography NEA marks must be submitted to us and samples sent to moderators. Please note that your exams officer will have their own internal deadlines to ensure they get the necessary information and materials in time. |
