As we continue to transition to a digital environment, we know that it’s essential to revisit and update our approaches to assessment delivery. Our aim is to create a more modern assessment delivery system that sets us up for the future, supports our Senior Associates better in their role by building associate capacity across the system, further supports our customers, and delivers the best outcomes for learners.   As part of a programme of modernisation, we are taking the opportunity to update our senior associate roles and responsibilities, across our qualifications.

We are seeking a Chair of Examiners for GCSE Geography

You'd have responsibility for both GCSE Geography qualifications A and B (1GA0 and 1GB0), ensuring parity across both.

Geographical Association Conference 2025

The Pearson Geography team will be at the GA Conference again this year in Oxford from 15-17 April. 'Connected geographies' is this year's conference theme at Oxford Brookes University. Please come and chat to us about any of our Geography qualification and resources. We are also running a workshop session discussing future geography qualifications and reform giving you the opportunity to share your thoughts on some of the key messages and recommendations from the geography education community, such as the volume of content in GCSE, the study of climate change and sustainability, and methods of assessment.
