Using social media to share ideas and resources
In recent years, social media has really taken off as a means of sharing teaching ideas and resources. At Pearson, we are using social media to engage with our Finance and Accounting teachers across the World.
Pearson LCCI Accounting Teacher Group
I have recently set up a Facebook group for Accounting: Pearson LCCI Accounting Teacher Group. It is a friendly support group for you as teachers and the aim is to provide the opportunity to ask for help, resources and anything else appropriate. You may wish to share good practice or ask other members to check resources, lesson plans, schemes of work, etc. All resources must be free.
Although the group was initially set up to support LCCI teachers, we also have members who teach International GCSE and IAL Accounting.
We now have over 100 members and numbers are growing – in order for it to be of real use we need it to grow further so it would be great to get more of our accounting teachers signed up to this group.
This is a closed group so you need to send a request to join.
To be accepted as a member of this closed group you will need to answer some questions I will send you upon joining so that I know that you are involved in the teaching and/or administration of LCCI, International A Level or International GCSE Accounting.
