A level Drama and Theatre Component 3 examples now available

We now have some examples of student work for Sections A and C of Component 3. For Section C, the set texts are Lysistrata and Antigone. We are planning to release more examples from different set texts next term.

We have produced a handy summary of what you need to do by 15 May 2018 for your students being assessed on GCSE Drama, AS and A Level Drama and Theatre this summer (2018):

A level training packs now available for C1 and C3

The training packs used in the Coursework Marking events for Component 1 and Mocks Marking events for Component 3 are now available to download. These packs contain examples of student work and recordings of devised performances. 

AS 2017 8DR02 source booklet now online

The 2017 question paper for AS Component 2 has now been updated to include the actual extracts from the six set texts.

Important information: A level Component 3 exam Section C

If your students are using the free versions of Lysistrata, Dr Faustus or Woyzeck (available here) we will ensure that the page numbers for these versions WILL be included in the A level Component 3 exam (taking place on 11th June). We haven’t included the page numbers for these versions in the Sample Assessment Materials and Specimen Paper, but we would like to assure you that they will be included in the exam paper.
