Training
New to Edexcel / Coursework marking training events (on-demand)
New to Edexcel on-demand training events are designed to help teachers onboarding on to our qualifications. This will give an overview of the qualifications and what to expect during delivery and assessment.
Our coursework marking training event consists of 4 modules. These modules are on-demand and accessible at all times. These modules will help teachers and departments to standardise their marking of the NEA. Within these modules, teachers would have the opportunity to view and mark different portfolios to understand the application of the mark scheme at different levels.
New Q&A events
We will be running D&T Q&A sessions in the coming months, focusing on the NEA for GCSE and A level. These events will be shaped with questions submitted prior to the event and evolve through further interaction and Q&A during events, aiming to support teachers with their specific needs.
There will be further information on these soon and centres will be informed through the usual channels! Please keep an eye.
A diverse list of Designers for GCSE D&T
Earlier this year, we announced a change in our GCSE D&T designers list. This is a reminder that the updated designer list for GCSE D&T should be used from September 2023. We hope that this selection of designers will inspire and enrich your learners in their Design and Technology education and study.
