Using the correct candidate assessment booklet for GCSE 9-1 Design and Technology
It has recently come to our attention that some centres have been using the incorrect booklet (Referred to the Candidate Mark Record Booklet in the suite of legacy qualifications) to capture and evidence their candidates’ submissions for the NEA component: 1DT0_02.

It is essential that centres use the correct form for centre assessments to be marked against the accurate booklet. The previous course’s booklet assesses a whole different criteria, and will therefore have a negative impact on the candidate’s marks.
In the instances where we do receive the incorrect booklets during moderation, we will return the work and request that it is remarked using the booklet above. This may pose a risk of a delay in your candidate results, and is critical for the moderation procedure.
