Contextual challenges for GCSE Design and Technology non-examined assessment is now available. These challenges are for learners certificating in summer 2022.

1 June contextual challenge release

Learners must undertake a project in response to one of the contextual challenges in the document, taking into account the needs and wants of the user.

Contextual challenges are open for interpretation and learners should, in analysis, realise a design problem to tackle in relation to the end user.
