Hello everyone and welcome to the last update for 2023. This update has information on the Tech Award deadlines and the Reforms of Level 3 qualifications.

Reform of BTEC Nationals in Children's Play, Learning and Development
Keep up to date with everything about the reform of the Level 3 qualifications . The BTEC nationals in CPLD Foundation Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma will not be available in September 2024.
The BTEC Nationals Extended Certificate in Children's Play, Learning and Development is still available to teach in September 2024.
The BTEC Nationals Extended Certificate has been redeveloped and we will keep you updated with what the new specification will look like and how it will need to be delivered. The qualifications have been submitted to the DfE and we are waiting for the response from them about approval and funding.
The new qualification will be called BTEC National Extended Certificate in Early Childhood Development (AAQ).
Tech Award (20220 Deadlines for Pearson Set Assignment (PSA)
The deadline for uploading the Learners sample for moderation is 15 December. The work must be uploaded by this time and it is best not to leave it until the date to give yourself sometime to correct any errors.
