Ready for Summer 2017 BTEC Results
This update gives information about the post result services for BTEC First and Nationals in Applied Science qualifications and summarises how to access documents and services that you may need during the summer 2017 results period.
Summer 2017 BTEC results day
Results day for Summer 2017 series are as follows:

External Assessment Results
This summer has seen the first external assessments for the new BTEC Nationals in Applied Science. For BTEC First and Nationals, you will be able to access the question papers online from 11 July with the mark schemes being available from 25 July 2017.
The results will be issued on Wednesday 16 August 2017 and they can be released to candidates on this day. The Principal Examiner's report for each externally assessed unit will also be published online on results day.

Getting your SV Report
The standards verification process has now been completed and you should have received notification from your SV about the result of the sampling process. You can access the SV report via Edexcel Online. We have produced a short video showing how to access your SV report.

After the summer 2017 results are published in August, you will be able to view and download scripts which have been marked online free of charge from our Self-Service Portal.
The Self-Service Portal will be available until the final Access to Script deadline for each exam series, so for summer 2017 this is Thursday 28 September. You should save and/or print any scripts you need by this deadline.
The Portal can only be accessed by Edexcel Online users who have the Exam Viewer profile ticked on Edexcel Online.
Please note that these scripts will not contain examiners' annotations.The marked script allows teachers to evaluate how the student performed on particular questions in relation to what they have been taught. The Principal Examiner's Report and the exemplars that we make available demonstrate how the mark scheme is applied.
If scripts have been marked "traditionally" (i.e. not online), you will have to request them via the Post Results section of Edexcel Online as in previous exam series.
These scripts will also be free of charge, but the final dates to request them will be the same as the JCQ Access to Scripts deadlines.
