Update: Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Sport and Play Surfaces from 1 June
The structure of the Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Sport and Play Surfaces (QCF) has been updated to better reflect the needs of learners in the sector.
The existing qualification, the Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Sport and Play Surfaces (QCF) (501/0100/6) is being withdrawn from 31 August 2013.
Working with Skillsactive, we have developed a new Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Sport and Play Surfaces (QCF) (600/9330/4) which has been accredited for first teaching from 1 June 2013.
The new Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Sport and Play Surfaces (QCF) is a 22-credit and 123 (Min) – 126 (Max) guided learning hour qualification that consists of four mandatory units and 12 optional units. The learner must achieve 22 credits in total to complete the qualification; 13 credits from the four mandatory units and a minimum of nine credits from either optional group 1 (Installation) or optional group 2 (Maintenance).
