The qualification is aimed at supervisors and team leaders in hospitality retail outlets such as cafes, coffee houses, restaurants - any establishment that prepares and serves food and drink to paying customers where the supervisor works independently without the support of a manager on site.

The competency and knowledge components of the Apprenticeship are detailed below.

Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality Retail Outlet Management

31 credits if taken as a stand-alone qualification or 33 if taken as an Apprenticeship.

A two-credit unit covering employment rights and responsibilities will also be mandatory in the Apprenticeship framework.
