SASE framework withdrawals
A number of SASE frameworks are being withdrawn from 1 December 2016 as part of apprenticeship reforms.
You will be aware that as part of apprenticeship reforms, there have been no new SASE frameworks developed or issued since 31 August 2014 and that new apprenticeship standards are being developed by groups of employers (Trailblazers).
BIS has confirmed that new starts will cease on the frameworks listed in the table below from 1 December 2016.
Apprentices still completing their apprenticeship on these frameworks will continue to do so on their agreed funding arrangements and their apprenticeship completion certificate can be claimed in the usual manner.
For some of these apprenticeship frameworks, new apprenticeship standards are in development.
