Free resources for you during Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The UK Government has announced that education establishments will close this week and that public exams will not be held this summer. This follows the earlier guidance to businesses to adopt a ‘work from home’ policy for staff. Speaking directly to some customers we know that many of you are trying to remain open in order to support your apprentices to finish their programmes and progress into further study or employment.
There will no doubt be many questions from you, your learners and your customers over the coming days and weeks. We probably will not have all the answers to hand now but we would like to reassure you that we are working through the details and collaborating closely with the Department of Education, Ofqual, IFATE and other stakeholders including the other AOs, JCQ and FAB to make recommendations and develop solutions that will support you, your learners and employees to complete and achieve qualifications. These include funding flexibilities, exploring alternate ways for EPA delivery and delaying EQA audits. We will share more details with you as these become available.
We want to ensure we can support you in the best way possible over the coming weeks and months and we are therefore making ebooks, workbooks and revision resources available free online for 60 days which you can choose to share with your learners. These free resources include access to resources for BTEC, Functional Skills and other qualifications. They can also support apprenticeship delivery.
These online resources are available via our online ActiveLearn platform.
