We sent a letter to international centres in summer 2013, concerning the current International GCSE qualifications which now include a compulsory oral.
The letter concerns the current International GCSE qualifications in Chinese, French, German and Spanish.
Although it states that a student entered as a 'private candidate' must sit an exam where the qualification is taught, it may also be possible for them to do so at another Edexcel-registered examination centre if appropriate arrangements have been put in place to accommodate all units.
