The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) has announced increases in funding for some Functional Skills English and Mathematics learners, backdated to 1 August 2012.
The SFA announcement follows that of Matthew Hancock MP, the Minister for Skills, who pledged additional support for English and mathematics qualifications at the Association of Colleges (AoC) conference in Birmingham.
