Enhanced Tiering Support

We know that many of you are deciding on tiering for your students at the moment. To help you with making these decisions, we've developed a range of brand-new Enhanced Tiering Support for GCSE (9–1) Maths:

tiering guidance showing the key differences in content and assessment between the two tiers

exemplification of grade 4 and grade 5 performance – a summary of the mathematical skills that students achieving a grade 4/5 are able to demonstrate

diagnostic tests to help you determine a suitable tier for your students.

To make it easier, we've collated all the Enhanced Tiering Support we offer in one simple zip file (3.7 MB)

Now available: November 2019 exam materials

Exam materials for the November 2019 exam series are now online, and you may find them helpful to use with students for exam preparation and practice.

Now available: revision wellbeing infographics

At Pearson, we’re committed to supporting positive wellbeing in schools and colleges. As part of our #healthyhappyschools campaign, we've been inspired by our conversations with teachers, students, parents and experts, particularly when it comes to tackling exam stress.

That's why we've created two infographics on:

We wanted to share these as soon as they were available so you can use them in the way that works best for you and your students. We'll also be creating more support in the run-up to exams and beyond, and we'll keep you updated with any new content.

Coming soon: new set of mocks (set 5)

A new set of mocks (set 5) will be released in March, but we are working on producing a pre-design version. We'll let you know as soon as they are available!

You’ll need your Edexcel Online username and password to access some of the materials. Your exams officer will be able to let you know your login details.
