Forging the future of the gaming and digital workforce with Pearson BTEC and TIGA
Pearson BTEC are pleased to announce that we have partnered with TIGA (The Independent Games Association) in support of our range of BTEC qualifications in Creative Media, Creative IT and Computing and Art and Design. This new partnership will allow Pearson educators to strengthen their connections with industry, whilst offering networking opportunities with industry and other educational professionals.
TIGA is the network for games developers and digital publishers, and the trade association representing the video games industry within the UK. Their work complements a range of BTEC qualifications aimed at helping learners develop careers in the industry, such as BTEC Games Design and Development pathways within our BTEC National Level 3 Creative Media qualifications. This is a timely partnership, as reports suggest that the gaming industry is forecast to have an annual growth rate of around 12.9% over the coming years.*
