Early Years Educator qualifications: no requirement for GCSE English and Maths

There is no requirement for learners to have achieved GCSE English and Maths upon commencement or completion of a standalone Early Years Educator qualification.

Howvever, to be counted in early years setting ratios at level 3, learners will need to achieve GCSE English and Maths at A*-C.
