Six new units in the BTEC Nationals in Business
We have made minor amendments our 2016 specifications in a number of internally assessed units. At the front of each specification you will find a table with all of these amendments for clarity.
In addition in the BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business only, we have added 6 additional units.
Each of the units adds a further opportunity for learners to chose an area of interest to study to support their intended progression route.

29 - Relationship Marketing
These are in addition to the marketing units 2/4/16/17/18/22 and the synoptic unit 7. These additional marketing specialist units will enable centres to offer a strong 2 year programme of business with marketing.
30 - Legal Principles and Professional Ethics in Financial Services
31 - Effective Management of Personal Debt
These are in addition to the finance and accounting units 3/10/11/12/13 and the synoptic unit 7. These additional finance specialist units will enable centres to offer a strong 2 year programme of business with finance.
32 - Buying for Business
33 - Supply Chain Operations
These are in addition to the retail procurement and supply linked units such as units 9/14/15/16 and the synoptic unit 7. These additional retail/procurement and supply specialist units will enable centres to offer a strong 2 year programme of business with retail links.
